TORT REFORM IN TEXAS- sponsored by Attorney Brian White

Check out our latest song “Tort Reform in Texas” sponsored by Attorney Brian White and recorded at Sugar Hill Studios (video below).  Yes, my sweet and very handsome husband:).  He was one of the sponsors of our business theme songs.  Just to explain his reasoning for the song…he is a plaintiff’s attorney and tort reform in Texas has limited the amount of damages a person can claim for wrongdoing.  Insurance companies lobbied to put a cap on the damages and so Brian will get cases where a child is injured, parents will have to fork out over the course of a lifetime multi-millions of dollars in care, but the law can only allow them to collect around 200K.  As a result, you don’t find many attorneys taking on these sad cases where many need an advocate.  So here we are with “Tort Reform in Texas.” Check out his website at www.AttorneyBrianWhite.com for more info.

BRUSHING TEETH TIME- sponsored by Dr. Joel Vela

PLAY SONG HERE!  01 BRUSHING TEETH TIME

The other song released this month for a business is “Brushing Teeth Time” for Dr. Joel Vela.  He owns Bellaire Pediatric Dentistry and is an exceptional dentist (I should know because my three girls see him along with most of Houston’s inner-loop).  He needed a song to inspire teeth brushing and the Magic Mirrors delivered.  I play a mean kazoo solo on this one so you’ll have to check it out!

I’ve had countless people over the years ask me if I teach music lessons.  Recently, I just started Magic Music Lessons where the Magic Mirrors come to your home and teach guitar, drums, bass and piano.  Recitals are a little different than the norm with students playing at our shows.  We also offer a Rock Band Class where we join several students together to form a band.  After some practice, they are able to open for a Leah White & the Magic Mirror concert!  FOR MORE INFO. www.MagicMusicLessons.com or email at Leah@MagicMusicLessons.com

Leah White and the Magic Mirrors have quite a busy schedule during the holidays due to their popular family favorite album, A White Christmas.  Songs like Sugar High, I’m Afraid of Santa Claus, A White Christmas and more are on this album.  It’s sure to be a family classic.  Check out the show schedule so you can hear the music performed live.

Up until this point, Leah White was operating under her own indie label, Zazoo Records. This was until things started getting really big with her music career. White claims, “running your own business you do all the publicity, marketing, booking and it starts to get a little overwhelming when you biggest purpose is to write and create great music and give performances to wow the fans.”

Ross Wells (film director and owner of Zen Film) and Dan Workman (producer and owner of SugarHill Studios) started their own label, ZenHill Records to support the artist and make them known to the world. Workman and Wells are well-known on the Houston music scene and beyond and were excited about the opportunity to work with Leah White. In fact, they were very eager to hear her adult contemporary work and are currently releasing her new album, Stars in the Sky”, recorded and produced by Jamie Adams. This album is a collection of White’s songwriting from her high school days to current and capture a real and intimate feel for the artist. Keep your eyes out for the digital release of this new album and all the rest that ZenHill does to support this budding artist as a rising star.
