Up until this point, Leah White was operating under her own indie label, Zazoo Records. This was until things started getting really big with her music career. White claims, “running your own business you do all the publicity, marketing, booking and it starts to get a little overwhelming when you biggest purpose is to write and create great music and give performances to wow the fans.”

Ross Wells (film director and owner of Zen Film) and Dan Workman (producer and owner of SugarHill Studios) started their own label, ZenHill Records to support the artist and make them known to the world. Workman and Wells are well-known on the Houston music scene and beyond and were excited about the opportunity to work with Leah White. In fact, they were very eager to hear her adult contemporary work and are currently releasing her new album, Stars in the Sky”, recorded and produced by Jamie Adams. This album is a collection of White’s songwriting from her high school days to current and capture a real and intimate feel for the artist. Keep your eyes out for the digital release of this new album and all the rest that ZenHill does to support this budding artist as a rising star.
